Genalex™

Distributed air gap toroid cores made from nickel, molybdenum and iron alloy powder. Genalex cores are similar in composition to MPP cores. 70% nickel, 2% molybdenum iron alloy particles are compacted into toroid shapes. The shapes and sizes of the particles differ from MPP allowing larger cores to be produced. The Material permeability's range from 60µi to 140µi with standard core sizes from 7.87mm to 100.0mm. Cores are coated with an epoxy coating which provides a tough outer surface with a minimum breakdown voltage of 500Vac. Larger cores have an additional coating which further increases the toughness of the outer surface and increases the breakdown voltage to 2kVac. Genalex cores are colour coded in light grey.

 

Genalex H™

Genalex H cores are similar in composition to High Flux cores. 50% nickel and 50% iron alloy particles are compacted into toroid shapes. The shapes and sizes of the particles differ from High Flux allowing larger cores to be produced. Material permeability's range from 60µi to 140µi with standard core sizes from 7.87mm to 100.0mm. Cores are coated with an epoxy coating which provides a tough outer surface with a minimum breakdown voltage of 500Vac.Larger cores have an additional coating which further increases the toughness of the outer surface and increases the breakdown voltage to 2kVac. Genalex H cores are colour coded in beige.
